I have to go back to my third graders on August 16th, but like you, I am planning to go in early and get it all set up before I have to. It makes me crazy to wait until the week we "have to" be there. And yes- Monday is lurking, but we can still stay up late, sleep in and THEN go to school to work right??? Oh- and there's always the fact that we can eat lunch out too! Great post my teacher friend!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24258125.post-8956910380300618272010-07-26T19:15:12.763-04:002010-07-26T19:15:12.763-04:00I totally understand what you are saying. I know, forget it, I'm not getting any sympathy from all you folks looking to get back to work, so I'll simply repeat... wonderful analogy... come visit when you can

Twitter: SolarChiefSharlene T.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08520928982756928527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24258125.post-15225416293298846602010-07-26T08:51:45.181-04:002010-07-26T08:51:45.181-04:00loved this post and this idea about the break bein...loved this post and this idea about the break being a weekend.tgmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04392686567818581399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24258125.post-19339010622735079412010-07-26T06:44:11.313-04:002010-07-26T06:44:11.313-04:00So you're English, are you?So you're English, are you?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24258125.post-79656308781528436982010-07-25T22:31:09.061-04:002010-07-25T22:31:09.061-04:00I very much like the analogy of our summer break a...I very much like the analogy of our summer break as a weekend. It really is a long school year, isn't it? And I'm realizing that I need to get my own year plotted out for homeschool so that I won't belly flop, and can send them back to public school next year.

So I really should be in your same position, right? I'm probably overdue for a huge freak out/reality check.Bethanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14888242466359929076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24258125.post-84335408403747289512010-07-25T22:04:50.725-04:002010-07-25T22:04:50.725-04:00This explanation of a teacher's summer is bril...This explanation of a teacher's summer is brilliant.
