A Regrettable Conundrum

My principal has "friended" me on Facebook. There is no link back to this blog from my facebook profile, but still.... what should I do???

hahha! If you ignore....they'll know...but if you accept they are in your life forever!!! I think you have to say yes...

A definite conundrum! I guess it wouldn't work to explain to her that you want to keep your professional life and private life separate?! Probably not. You'd be shooting yourself in the foot. Mom

yeah, wow, that's... I don't really have a solution. Why would she even want to be your facebook friend?

Hmmm... I agree with Hannah...

Say no. You're moving anyway.

Don't do it! One of the secretaries at work asked me, and even though I have nothing to hide on my facebook account, I just don't want my present work mingled with my free time. Say no and be honest about the reasons. Facebook is for friends, there are plenty of other networking sites for professional contacts. That is my humble opinion.

Btw, I enjoy reading your blog every so often ;-)

you can accept and then remove and she won't know you removed her. But then I told my mother she couldnt be my friend. She understood.

What happens to a friend request that you don't hit "confirm" or hit "ignore"?? And you just let the request sit there forever and ever amen??? Mom

Oh my. That's not good! I would NOT want mine on my facebook! Make a new facebook under another name and sent a private message to everyone else to use it. Check both and make pretend posts on it! :) Really, good luck with that!
