I was chatting with one of my third grade students in the deaf ed program. She asked me: "Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No," I said, "I have a husband! I'm married!"
"Oh. Do you have kids?"
"No," I answered, "No kids yet!"
"Ohhhhh," she said in a knowing way, "wait until you're taller!"
