"It's easy to convince people that children need to learn the alphabet and numbers. How do we help people to realize that what matters is how a person's inner life finally puts together the alphabet and numbers of his outer life? What really matters is whether he uses the alphabet for the declaration of war or the description of a sunrise, and his numbers for the final count in Buchenwald or for the specifics of a new bridge" (Fred Rogers)
Amen.

I read Mr. Rogers autobiography. Good man and good example of Christ-like behavior. Compare his attitude with our pop culture. He actually had the courage to be kind and selfless. I miss him...
Why are his puppets scary?? Hope you're not scared of Renee! Mom
I was a big fan of mr rogers as a mother...used the kids as an excuse to enter the intentionally slow paced, simply thought provoking world of a skinny guy in a cardigan who connected at the heart. He challenged by his gentleness! :) Brrenda
