My father-in-law is a high school teacher and he passed along this video to me. If you've EVER been a teacher or if you've ever had to deal with less-than-competent administration, then you will find this video hilarious! I promise it's worth five minutes of your time:
Is this what meetings are like in your school? :)

I sent it to my principal asking that he not kill the messenger...
I think this pretty much sums up any planning where more than one person is involved!
OMG! it's the last principal I worked under! Completely!
Oh my.
Bummer, I can't see the video, but I'm certain it matches my principal!
I'm so excited that I stumbled upon your blog. I am graduating from Mississippi State on FRIDAY in Special Education and then going on to get my Masters in Speech Pathology. I would love to work in the school system and I can't wait to read more of your posts. I would love any tips that you might have! Have a blessed week.
That was hilarious!!! Sad, because it's soooooo true!!
The only good note in this is that we are ALL truly in the same boat with the eduspeak thrown at us 24/7. I love these little cartoon with the robot voices and the delayed gestures. If only my principal would quote Jimmy Hendrixx while she's busy spewing pure nonsense. If I sent this to her, she would take what he says and repeat it when she's spewing more nonsense to my colleagues! Then I could at least laugh. My favorite line was making them sit so they can see all 4 walls at once. LOVED it.
