inspiration

I was recently going through some old photos of my years teaching in California. Right after Open House at end of the year, the teachers would get to walk through each other's rooms, ooh-ing and ahh-ing over fun and clever displays.

I took my camera through those walks, in case I wanted to use any of these ideas later. (Hey, it's all in the name of collaboration, right?)

I thought I'd share them with you, just in case you were scrambling to find project ideas for your walls!

Don't you just love all the cutesy fun stuff of being a teacher?!?

Those are such cute ideas! I do the bulletin board at the library I work at and am always run out of ideas. I could easily adapt these for the library!

steal someone's idea and make it your own! i've done this so many times, i've lost track of what were orignally my own ideas and those that i borrowed and tweaked until they became my own!

I love that you have such great stuff on the walls. Our K-2 building is decorated really well. The 3-5 is okay. By middle school it's starting to look like a juvenile detention center and the high school is like a stark prison. I think everybody should have cutsey stuff on the wall, but I guess I'm the only one!
